Giving Back

To help other dogs like our Lovepups Ollie and Pippa, we give 25% of all profits to no-kill animal shelters and rescue organizations.

2012 Give

In 2012 we raised $900! We decided to give all of the funds from 2012 to one very deserving organization, Pup Squad Animal Rescue.

The PupSquad Mission:

The goal of our rescue group is to save as many puppies and nursing litters as we can from life on the streets BEFORE they enter the shelters. We also work with BARC, and other area shelters, to rescue litters QUICKLY, before they are exposed to the diseases in the shelter environment. And we pledge never to leave a momma dog behind. They work so hard to protect their pups, no matter how tough of a situation they are in, and they deserve our love and care every bit as much as their sweet babies.

We are so excited to be helping this amazing organization. We were introduced to them through the event, Barkitecture, that they organize every year. They find homes for hundreds of adult dogs and puppies every year – reducing the number of dogs that end up in the shelters and ultimately euthanized. 2011 Give

We are thrilled to announce that we raised $750 in 2011!!  If you purchased a Lovepup collar or lead in 2011 – thank you for helping us raise these funds!

We are supporting two wonderful organizations this year – SNAP and True Blue Friends – Rescue and Sanctuary.

SNAP (Spay and Neuter Assistance Program)

SNAP is an amazing organization. Founded in 1999, SNAP’s mission is to prevent the suffering and death of cats and dogs due to overpopulation and preventable diseases, especially in low-income areas.

Our donation will provide spay-neuter services to 6 cats/dogs through SNAP’s mobile unit that provides spay-neuter services to low income Houston residents.

“SNAP’s Houston Mobile Clinic was the first free spaying and neutering clinic on wheels developed in the U.S.  SNAP’s flagship mobile clinic delivers high-quality spay and neuter services for animals in low-income neighborhoods where cost, transportation and the lack of veterinary services are obstacles to obtaining animal healthcare.” (Source: snapus.org, 2012)

True Blue Friends – Rescue and Sanctuary

Founded in 2005, True Blue Friends is dedicated to finding forever homes for abandoned, abused and neglected dogs. Their animals come to us from area shelters, individual surrenders, and caring friends.

Janice Blue, Founder and Operator, is dear to our hearts, as she rescued our dog Pippa from Euthanasia on the day that she was set to die. She has the kindest heart, taking care of 20+ dogs and 20+cats every single day.

Our donation to True Blue Friends will help provide spay-neuter and immunization services to some of the precious animals that she rescues.
